The Empire State Restaurant & Tavern Association (ESRTA) Safety Group 554 executive committee recently voted to appoint Fleury Risk Management (FRM) as the new New York State Insurance Fund (NYSIF) group manager effective immediately. Safety Group 554 offers low cost workers’ compensation insurance to New York restaurants, taverns, bars, hotels, and other businesses that sell alcohol for on-site consumption.
"The Association's workers compensation insurance safety group has helped New York restaurant and tavern owners reduce their costs for more than 25 years," said Scott Wexler, ESRTA Executive Director. "Our group has historically saved our members more than 50% off their workers compensation insurance costs. We've selected Fleury Risk Management to serve as Group Manager so we can protect and preserve this valuable membership benefit for many years to come," added Wexler.
